Lonestar-Kingwood Immunizations

Nursing Students School Programs

I understand that titers are blood tests telling if you're immune to certain diseases. If I'm not sure on when I've had any of these immunizations (I'm 37!), is it best to go ahead and just start the Hep B series, or do I also need to have the titers done?

Also, does it matter to the school if I choose the accelerated Hep B vaccines? I plan to apply for the Basic Track RN program next year, so I know I do have some time.

Thanks so much!

If you are pretty sure you haven't the hep B vaccines, just start the series and get the titers for the others.
