Hello everyone,

I just got accepted last week into Keiser sarasota for their 16month Nursing program. Very excited about this program and will be starting Jan 6

I have been going on/off on this site for as long as my nursing career has started (about 2 years ago..im 22 every topic has been extremly helpfull btw)

I am setting up my application and talking to financial aid this weds (eeeek)

Is their any current student attending keiser or keiser sarasota and would like to share with me your experience with Keiser and clinicals and steps that allowed you to make it this far?

All inputs are great and if their is anyway i can help feel free to ask, Thank guys :)

The interview isn't so bad. It's more just to get to know you and your personality. And you are allowed to ask as many questions as you need. It's a relaxed interview so just be yourself.

I am doing well in the program. The professors are very supportive, and I love the program so far. You have to be motivated, study hard, and stay focused. If you aren't willing to put in the time and work then I suggest not attending this program. It is way too much money to fail out of!

Good Luck at your interview!

Okay thank you so much. I am determined to put in the work and stay focused. If I dont get accepted into this program,I dont know what I would do. I have been wanting to do this for a very long time. I have heard that there is more than one person interviewing you? Is that true?

Sometimes it's one professor and sometimes it's just one. But don't be nervous about it. It really is a pretty laid back interview. They will go over your portfolio with you and ask questions from there. Just make sure to ask questions as well. This interview isn't just for them, but for you too.

And if you have the interview then you pretty much are in. But you will find out after the interview...unless something is totally off, like you wore daisy dukes or threw out cuss words every other word or something. So don't do that;)

I am about to go to Sarasota and had planned on applying to Keiser, cost is no concern because I will not be paying for it. Other than the cost of the program what are some other concerns you have? Are you being taught correct and up to date information? How is the graduation and NCLEX pass rate? Sorry for all the questions I just do not want to waste any more time. I am 31 with 2 small children about to get out of the military so I have to get things moving....IM GONNA THANK YOU IN ADVANCED FOR ANY INFO YOU CAN GIVE.

I'm at KU Jax. Great program. Interviewed with the Program Director. She is the director for ALL Keiser nursing programs. Info is up to date for the most part. NCLEX pass rate is 100% as of last cohort.

I'm going to speak with an admissions advisor tomorrow at the WPB campus. I am taking prerequisites at PBSC. Not sure which one I am leaning towards. PBSC nursing program is hard to get into from what I hear and I like that Keiser's program is accelerated. Does anybody have a list of the required courses I need to have under my belt to apply?

A&P, English, Microbiology, College Algebra, Human Growth &Development, American Lit, Computers. I think that's it. And pass TEAS. Keiser doesn't do HESI.

Thank you!
