Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello everyone,

I just got accepted last week into Keiser sarasota for their 16month Nursing program. Very excited about this program and will be starting Jan 6

I have been going on/off on this site for as long as my nursing career has started (about 2 years ago..im 22 every topic has been extremly helpfull btw)

I am setting up my application and talking to financial aid this weds (eeeek)

Is their any current student attending keiser or keiser sarasota and would like to share with me your experience with Keiser and clinicals and steps that allowed you to make it this far?

All inputs are great and if their is anyway i can help feel free to ask, Thank guys :)

The only credits that would transfer in are your prerequisite courses that you've already taken. That's how mine was!

Great! So only 15 more credits to go i think i will do those at the community college its so much cheaper lol. When do you start core?

I would take them at a community college too! It is much much cheaper! I start core September 1st

Hey everyone. I am going to speak with an admissions rep at the Tampa campus. Just wondering if there is anyone who is currently attending or planning to. Thanks!

Hi Mrsperry87

I got accepted to the tampa location for January 2015. I haven't met with financial aid getting so I don't know how that's going to go. I also, just applied to Phsc for January because it's cheaper. But I would rather go to keiser since I could finish faster. But it all depends on financial aid and what not.

I also am applying to Keiser and a CC. I am leaning more towards Keiser. But I am not looking forward to the loans:cautious:

I am doing my last semester at Keiser Sarasota. All i can say is Study, Have a good relationship with your teachers and classmate, stay on top of financial aid!!!!!!! (cannot overstate this enough!), get a home health aid job (so you can study and make a bit money on the side) and get yourself an nclex study book.

Thanks for the tips! I am starting Jan 5 and couldn't be more excited! Good luck to you this last semester, you will be graduating before you know it.

which campus

West Palm

I am at Keiser Ft. Lauderdale. I went in fully aware of the costs. It IS expensive, but you get done faster and more than qualified. I have one friend graduate from the nursing program, and one about to graduate the radiology tech program. They had both highly recommended the program. I have 3 more pre-req courses to take, I'm already done with 3. I LOVE the one full-time class per month courses.

Great post!! I have a 3 year old and I'm very worried about starting school. Do you have any idea if the school excepts any prereq over 5 yrs old FRM a community college?
