You are absolutly right about people not being honest about getting what they say they got. I talked to a few people before the test last night, but after we were handed our test paper with our info on it and it seemed like several people that I expected to have a higher point total going in, looked a little light on the points if you know what I mean. But who knows how they did on the test. I guess we'll just wait and see. I hate this part. I do wonder though if the dean told people last summer that it would be around August 1st, I was sure I read a couple posts that said they got their letters like the 21st of July or so.

Did the Dean tell you where folks were sitting average? I mean so many people took the test last minute they must have a lot to go over now. I did hear one girl left crying, another lady I knew was really bright but she told me she got a 78, which I am not sure I believe that either.

No unfortunalty she said that they didn't know at this time what the average was. Which is hard to believe they would have a report on that it's all done on computer. I mean we know right away. Why wouldn't they. You are right about one lady crying though, I witnessed it, I felt awfull for her. I didn't hear the conversation but I assumed she didn't get what she needed to on the test. I didn't realize though that only 8 people took it on the 11th. There were 25 in there last night (I counted) and there were 3-4 papers leftover for people that did a no show. She did say there were 150 apps that got turned back in. But if you do the math and there were only 8 on the 11th and 25 in my time slot, that does not add up to 150 there could not have been that many people in the other 2 times yesterday.

She told me about 90 were to test so the rest may be reapps, she also explained to me that a lot goes into that because you have people that apply while taking there pre-requisites too meaning some applied but did they pass their classes that were required? I had a high Compass score for math so I was told I could advance placement test out, well I waited until the last minute to do it, I did it Friday, which meant if I don't pass this test, Im out of the running no need to take the Kaplan my app would have been disqualified, and the Dean called me up to tell me you're running real close to having me disqualify you because you don't have all the classes technically, thankfully by one question I passed, one more wrong and I wouldn't be talking now. As for the lady you're talking about I know her and she has had some outside issues going on and she had someone take the test before her that refused to tell her a word about it, and they were best friends.

I did just join. I found the sight last year when I started classes and hadn't really been back in a long time and figured it could be a more usefull tool that I originally gave it credit for and well I suddenly have more time on my hands since classes ended.

I figure that a ton had to be reapps, but oh well. You're were right though we had pharm together I sat in the front by the door. But anyway yes Lois would tell us to "breathe". You really did cut that close with testing out though, I can't belive you waited so long, I would have had a heart attack. I debated on testing out but figured I would use the easy A to maintain a good GPA in case I tanked in pharm or patho.

I can't believe that her friend wouldn't tell her anything about it. I mean come on. I'm not saying she should have given her answers or anything but a heads up like "brush up on your verb usage" and "proper comma placement" or "fractions" or "hey there was a question about hypertension...". I getthe competative thing and everyone for themselves but with a test like that there is only so much you can help someone anyway. Who needs friends like that. I really did fell bad for her when she walked out, thats too bad she had so much going on at that time. I wondered if it was one of those things that she felt like she barely missed what she felt her cut off would be as far as points and was kind of in shock or if she did way worse. Either way maybe she can reapply and get her extra point for spring.

Besides CPR classes do you or does anybody out there know what else we will need for fall just to be prepared.

Just wanted to say that this thread has helped me sooo much. I am scheduled to take the Kaplan tomorrow at 9am. Crossing fingers that I have studied enough!!! Good luck to anyone else who will be taking the test and to those still waiting to hear if you've made it.
