Hillsborough Community College Nursing - Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hello! I was wondering if anyone else is planning on applying to the HCC nursing program for the spring of 2018? I just finished this rough semester and I was hoping there would be other people on here that I can talk to about this upcoming goal! (:

Hi!!! I'm an alternate right now and I doubt people know this post is already here. Everyone just got their letters for Fall 2017. I'm sure those of us who don't get accepted as alternates will be reapplying for Spring. The cutoff was 3.667 for Fall.

I hope people got in like they hoped to. If I may ask, what is an alternate?

Basically a back up for students who either don't turn in papaerwork/miss a deadline or choose another school. HCC wants to make sure they can fill the spots as needed.

Oh I understand now. The alternates have not gotten their acceptance letters yet?

No we are in limbo until class starts...

I am sorry to hear that but I hope you get in though (: Have you taken your teas test yet?

Yes. 83.3. You?

I'll most likely be applying

Definitely. Just gotta get a new application in. The cutoff is August 15?

Yeah. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but I'm not banking on getting called. We should hopefully get in this time

I am taking my teas on the 27th. Any tips you have? I would gladly accept them please.
