Nursing Students School Programs

Hey guys I'm currently a student at GGC and have an overall GPA 3.6 however my Science GPA is around a 3.2. Is there a chance for me to make it into the program ? I recently talked to someone who applied to a nursing program, but at Gwinnett Tech she had an excellent GPA along with a good TEAS grade, but still didn't make it in. I'm starting to worry .

Hey, did you apply to the Program yet? If so did you get accepted? I have some insight as I just got accepted for Spring 2017 but I was rejected for Fall 2016. If you are still inquiring let me know, I may be able to help. Good luck.

What did you change last year to this year?

hey, I will like to ask you a in regards to ggc program

Spill the deets. I need some insight

what is the insight

My TEAS score. The teas test is worth 40% of the score they use for acceptance. If you meet all other requirements but make lower than a 75 on your TEAS 9 times out of 10 you will be rejected. My science GPA was around 3.8 I have awesome letters of recommendation and plenty of volunteer work but my TEAS score was a 71.

You will need to actually study for the test. It's not like your standard college exams. However, it may be easier since I last took it because they now allow you to use a calculator on the math portion.

What questions do you have?

O you know your other classmates stats? I don't want to take a pe class if I'm not even a good candidate for the program. There is only 30 slots rights? And where did you get recommendation from

I have not met my other classmates yet. If I got an A in any class I would have my professor write me a recommendation letter. I would suggest you stay on track and take all the necessary courses. The standards are high because they want the best, I noticed that their high standards just forced me to push myself harder. Don't count yourself out, do your best and have back up options. But don't quit before you've been accepted or denied because then you'll always wonder what if....
