Does anyone know why Georgetown online is not accepted in all states?

    I saw on their website that they aren't accepted in all states and just wanted to know if anyone knows exactly why.

    I was told by them that my State Board had not accepted them yet.

    I live in NY and the program is not accepted here yet, but is in the application process. I think there are just some states that require schools to jump through hoops to be approved, probably to make money....
