Chico State University Reviews

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi everyone.

I am planning on applying to Chico states' Nursing program for spring start. I just got my acceptance letter for the school itself, but have no yet applied to the program yet.

I just want to know about the school a little more. I wanted to see what everyone thinks about the city itself and the school, the good and the bad.

If you can just tell me your opinions about the academics, the staff, and faculty I would love to hear.

I would also appreciate what you think of the people and the city itself.

I have a tour scheduled for in a few weeks, but I really would like to hear what other people think too.

Thank you! :)

Yeah I did. I took it Saturday!. I felt confident, but I just saw the score right now and I seriously scored 0% in every category. I'm pretty sure I didn't do bad enough to not even get one question right. I'm freaking out now though and stressing. But I will be calling the school and atitesting tomorrow to find out what happened.

What!? That sounds crazy. I hope you get it figured out, that can't possibly be right.

That's so strange! That's not right at all. Does it have your section in the report where it shows you what to work on? Sounds like an ATI problem.

It didn't even show me what i did wrong. I just woke up and saw my score and it was a 92.7!!!!! I'm so happy I could scream!!!!!!!!

I tried calling the school i took it at and ati but no one knows why it did that. It could have just been a glitch in the system or a scoring mistake. Right now I just hope it stays a 92.7

That brings me to 83.75-85.75 points. I'm not sure about if i'm going to be receiving 2 points or not, but I'm kind of positive I am, so mostly will be at 85.75 points.

Now I just hope It's high enough to get in!.

WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! I'm glad that worked out--I hope we are classmates this January ;)

I am too. I just submitted my application. We need to all keep in touch!

Yay!!!! Congrats, great score! That'd be great if we all got in. Their goal is to tell us by the end of November.

Really? I thought it said december 15?. By the way, do you know if Butte County Residents get priority from non-residences? I did the online advising session on friday and she mentioned something about priority and residency? I wasn't sure because i had a really bad internet connection when trying to log in at first.

The new online program is allowing them to go through the applicants quicker. And yes, they give extra points for residents.

I see well that would be great if we find out sooner. I'm still trying to find a place to live, but it's so hard :(

There's lots of places close to campus, but always hard to find roommates. Are you looking on Craigslist?

Yeah I have applied to a place called walnut grove I think? I can never remember, but i'm just waiting to hear back. I have checked craiglist but alot of them are looking to rent NOW, and I cant go until december/ january. What makes it harder is that i have 2 dogs I am trying to take with me, because if i leave them home, my family will give them away.
