Chamberlain Graduates

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I'm looking at going to Chamberlain College of Nursing in Houston. I would like any information you have. Did you find a job right away? What about accreditation? CCNE or NLNAC? Did you graduate? How was the program? Do you feel that you were as successful as you could have been? Did you work while you attended? Any information is helpful!

Thanks

Chamberlain has full accreditation from the CCNE and is approved by the Texas BON. The NCLEX pass rate is one of the best in the state and I haven't heard of anyone having problems getting a job. Many of us are working at major hospitals as techs or student nurses as well. I feel that we are very prepared to face the NCLEX as well as the nursing world. The staff is very supportive and the resources available to you are priceless ans numerous. I am a current student who will graduate in t-minus 15 weeks:yes:.

I'm taking an EKG course in order to become a Telemeter Tech on the weekends while attending school. I'm looking at the 3 year BSN program, but I already have a lot of prereqs done. What would you say is the hardest part? Did you have time to study/work/have a life? (I don't have any children, I just have myself to support.) How much in student loans did you have to take out, if you don't mind me asking. I've read some not-so-good reviews, so I just want to make sure that this is a good idea before I commit. And where did you find where Chamberlain's accreditation is? Their website doesn't say CCNE?
