Aside form picking as many oncology patients as possible this helps me frame what competencies I should be getting exposure to.Blood products, chemo, electrolyte replacements, more blood products, IV antibiotics, TPN, central lines, fevers.
Oh and THE best patient population I have encountered.
Fingers crossed I find an oncology job someday...
