I know someone considering a Radiation Therapy AA degree program. Would you be so kind as to offer your insights into the availability of jobs? Are they an appreciated part of your team? What makes a good one?
Thanks in advance and bless you for the work you do,
Jules

This is a late reply, but I've worked in Radiation Oncology for 3+ years. I didn't know that there was a specific training program for that - definitely for Radiation Therapy Technologists. I came from an Oncology background and received my radiation-specific training on the job.
I think a lot depends on the area that you live in - big city vs. rural area, etc. I live in a smaller city, and I've seen 2 job come available in the past 3-1/2 years (one was the one I got).
Hope this helps!
