Hello everyone! I am a new nurse. I graduated last July. I have only worked Private duty with 1 patient and it was basically on the weekends. I haven't found a full-time job as of yet. I have had some offers, but the pay was way below the salary I am currently making and I really can't afford to take a BIG pay cut. Well, on next Tuesday I have an interview with an outpatient blood/cancer center. This will be the first LPN position for this clinic. I don't know all the duties as of yet, but I think I will be starting some IV's and drawing blood. I don't have any experience with drawing blood and I was only able to do a couple of IV's in school.
Just wondering...... Do you think I will survive in this clinic and would it be smart for me to take this position if offered since I don't have much exp?? Please give me some advice.
