Helpful BMT tips?

Hello all of you lovely, brilliant, caring Onc nurses!

I am starting a new job in Atlanta on a BMT unit! I have worked on a med/surg onc floor for 2.5 years. I have plenty of experience with new dx leukemics (which are also admitted to the BMT unit), but ZERO experience with BMT pts and am starting to get kind of nervous about that.

Does anyone care to share some need to know information on how to survive a BMT unit? Maybe some tips/tricks, etc. I will be forever indebted to you! :-)
