HELP! Chemo Provider RenewalRegister Today!
This is a discussion on HELP! Chemo Provider Renewal in Oncology Nursing, part of Nursing Specialties ... Greetings everyone! So I received a notice from ONS regarding my chemotherapy provider card...by RNAchot83 Sep 15, '12Greetings everyone!
So I received a notice from ONS regarding my chemotherapy provider card stating it will expire first week of October.
I have registered for a class that will begin on 10/2/12.... Does this mean I will only have x amount of days to complete the course before the said expiration or will they give me the full 15 days to complete? The website says ONS considers the expiration date the last day of the month inwhich the card expires.. But I just wanted to confirm this. Will it be considered expired if I use the full 15 days to complete course then?
Print and share with friends and family.

- Sep 21, '12 by OCNRN63I'm not quite sure what you're asking. Your card is good until 103012. You have 15 days to complete the class. As long as you meet the requirements and pass the test, there's no problem.
