- Aug 12, '11 by hicalliCourses required of all students (with or without prior bachelor’s degrees) before starting 3000-level nursing courses:for accelerated program
Human Anatomy with a lab (3-5)Human Physiology (may be taught in combination with Human Anatomy) (3-5)Microbiology with a lab (3-4)Introduction to Psychology (3)A college chemistry course with a lab, preferably introductory or organic chemistry (4-5before they required B in chemistry but now I think C is ok too,,,I spoke to them ,,you can start accelerated program in spring but also in fall too,,,, - Aug 22, '11 by TiffTI'm thinking about attending OCU in Jan 2012, too, if I don't get accepted into OU. A couple of weeks ago I was speaking to one of the "higher" up people and they said don't let the cost scare you. She indicated that there are various scholarships and grants available. Also, something else that has changed is the scheduling. For instance, if you start out in the accelerated program and it's too fast, then you can go to the full time or part time and vice versa. So, it looks like they are making it more flexible for the students. I've met alot of staff up there and they are all super nice, so I'm sure if you had any difficulties in a class, they'd be willing to help! I hope this helps! Good luck to you and maybe we'll meet in class one day!hicalli likes this.

- Sep 28, '11 by veebeeGHi! I actually applied for the Accelerated BSN program at Oklahoma City University for the Kramer School of Nursing and got accepted for January 2012 =)! It's a great school from the research that I have done! Has anyone else gotten in for the same program and the same time? It would be great to get to know some of you before classes actually start!
