I'm going tomorrow to talk to the unemployment people about the WIA grants. I had called earlier and there is $6000 a year available in my area. I just wanted to let everyone know its a good time to apply. I was told you can make a max of $11.32 x 40hrs where I live and still be elgible.
Does anyone know what they pay for exactly? I guess I will find out soon enough.

I guess every area differs. In North Florida (Jacksonville), you just need to make less than $25.00/hour or be unemployed to qualify. There are other things that may qualify you, I just can't remember for sure. You also need a 3.0 GPA.
Here, they can cover around $7,000 for an ADN program (not sure about the LPN program). They used to cover everything (tuition, books, uniforms, supplies, gas, etc.), but now they only have the funding to cover tuition, fees, and required books.
