    Im just curious if anyone on here works for the health department? I am very interested in going to work in public health after I graduate and just wanted to see if anyone who currently works in the field has any tips or just info on where they work, what they do, what the pay is like here in OK (im in the tulsa area), etc......

    I'm at the other end of the state but a nurse that now works with us (just left the health dept) complains of being short staffed, low pay and threats of no raises for 2 yrs because of budgets. This is not first hand experience, so take it with a grain of salt. Good luck with whatever you choose.
