Need some advice

U.S.A. Oklahoma

I am currently enrolled in a LPN program and will graduate in May. I am wanting to continue my education but have no clue where I want to go. I have looked at several programs. I am really interested in OU LPN-BSN program. I have attend Rogers State University and have some prereqs done. If I wanted to do RSU's bridge I would have to wait until next year. I would like to work on LPN to RN bridge program as soon as possible. Anyone have some advice what I should do?:banghead:

Sorry to tell you, but you've probably already missed the application deadlines to start anywhere this fall. Most school's in the area has deadlines of March or April. The best thing to do is find a program you want to go to, complete their pre-req's and gain some practical experience till you can start a bridge program. The more pre-req's you get out of the way now, the easier the bridge program will be for you. I hear RSU is good. OU's program requires a few extra pre-req's (I checked into it a couple of years ago). The only place you can probably start immediately will probably be Platt College. ($$$$)

Be patient and take your time. Good luck

Most programs that I have looked at also require you to work as an LPN for one year before starting the bridge. Langston's campus in Tulsa also has a LPN to RN bridge program that you should check out as well. Hopefully I will be starting there in the fall.
