2013 OU ABSN Applications

I know from reading previous posts there were a few others that were applying to the OU ABSN program. I just turned my application in about two weeks ago. I'm hoping to be accepted to the Duncan program. My husband and I will be moving back to the Lawton area at the end of August. We are currently in Alaska with the military.

I know I have been worried, especially since the website has not updated the site with the most recent student stats. I would like to know what the last batch of grades looked like compared to mine. Nothing I can do now but wait. Maybe we could all keep each other sane here =)

I talked to them today and they had 40 apply with Duncan as their first choice and they are accepting 16!

Really only 40 applied to Duncan as their first choice this year? Wow! Ok so hopefully us 4 can all make it in! I'm just so nervous!!!

I emailed admissions today and asked when we should expect our letters, so I will let you guys know what I hear! Hopefully sooner than later!

I'm so happy that you all have been able to get some information. Thanks for sharing what you got, even if it is differing from each other. I just moved back to Oklahoma from Alaska and am trying to get settled in. I am so worried that I'm not going to get into this program. The news that there were only 40 people with Duncan as first choice is a little reassuring, but still. *Deep Breaths*

So I don't think we are allowed to put names on here, but I talked to the Senior Admissions Officer. I called on friday and she said their projected to date to mail the letters for both Spring and Summer 2013 is October 15th. She also said by the end of October if we haven't receieved anything that it's ok to call and ask if they have made their final decisions. I know we all keep getting different dates so I'm not sure what to expect! But I would definitely be ok with Oct 15th!!!

It applies to all campuses-Tulsa, OKC, and Duncan. Originally the admission's officer told me Tulsa/OKC will not receive their letters until middle of Novemeber, but she recently said they are trying to send out all the letters at the same time. :)
