2013 OU ABSN Applications

I know from reading previous posts there were a few others that were applying to the OU ABSN program. I just turned my application in about two weeks ago. I'm hoping to be accepted to the Duncan program. My husband and I will be moving back to the Lawton area at the end of August. We are currently in Alaska with the military.

I know I have been worried, especially since the website has not updated the site with the most recent student stats. I would like to know what the last batch of grades looked like compared to mine. Nothing I can do now but wait. Maybe we could all keep each other sane here =)

Does anyone know if you are not accepted to ABSN if they notify you by mail? And when will they be sending out traditional BSN acceptance letters??

I was told that they would not start reviewing applications for the traditional program until after the deadline in January, so people would not be notified of acceptance/alternate/denial until mid-April. Judging by how long it took the accelerated program letters to be sent out, I'm guessing it won't be until sometime in May.

Did you get your acceptance letter? I did not hear back from you.

They didn't have it. It was discussed kind of quietly during orientation while talking about books that they didn't have it available. Not sure what we are supposed to do about it.

Hmm me either! I guess they will email us!

FYI for anyone that got selected as an alternate... I am an alternate for both the OKC and Tulsa programs. I e-mailed the lady we were told to e-mail if we had questions, and she told me what number I am on the alternate list. Just thought I would mention this in case anyone else wanted to see where they were.
