Statistics?

I took stats for behavioral sciences - and I have to say the prof rocked! Most organizied class at OU.

Is there a big difference in the difficulty of the different statistics classes? I really wanted to get it out of the way this quarter but there are only 2 offerings and one is full already (the shorter one, BOO!). Is statistics for behavioral sciences much more difficult than intro stats?

Suggest you read through the old threads on statistics. The OU class is not bad. I absolutely dreaded it, and it turned out to be my favorite class. Had an awsome prof, Prof K. No pre req's. I hadn't had a math class in 40 years, and I got an A. You can do it.

Believe me, I was shaking in my boots. The course isn't really heavy in algebra. I did go over and over the material. I practiced the problems over and over. The first week was overwhelming, but then I realized I was getting it. It gave me confidence. I did work hard, but it wasn't that bad. Really.

Thre was a good web site Kahn academy, I think, that went over things step by step. You can do it, believe me.

Cincinusemary. Thanks for saying what you did. I HATE math big time.i think I am taking it at iowacconline. 8 weeks. Just have to figure out "when"

Yup - Prof K is definately that!! Great Prof - best class I took at OU!!
