I worry that my questions will have been asked previously, but this thread is very large and I am new here... so I'll take my chances, since it doesn't seem like I will ever be added to the Facebook group

I am beginning this program next month and I would really like to finish it as quickly as possible. I was hoping maybe someone would have input to share with me regarding the nursing coursework. I'm interested to know if certain classes are easier than others so that I could potentially double them up, but I would also like to know about some of the gen ed classes.

For example, I need to take business communications; is that a difficult class with a great deal of coursework? What about Fashion & Culture, Intro to Ethics, & Exploring Musical Styles?

    I am currently enrolled in 4510 & Fashion (1st 5), 4550 (2nd 5), & 4580 (3rd 5).

If you join the site on facebook you will get quicker responses and tons of information. This same question you just asked was asked on the fb site. Look for OU RN to BSN site on fb and click join, may take a few days to be accepted to the site but dont worry.

Sorry if someone has asked this before, this is a very long thread! Has anyone ever "fought" to transfer a class with OU and won? I have a women's studies class I took at 100 level, and the course at their institution is a 1000 level- AND the course description sounds extremely similar.. but they aren't accepting it on my DARS. Any idea who to take this up with?

I emailed a bunch of people like the advisers and I think the registrar? At least three or four people. Someone fixed it. However, I had the fortunate luck of having documentation from the school saying they would accept my nutrition class as their equivalent. My nutrition class was technically only two credit hours so it should not have been accepted.
