Anyone complete the RN-to-BSN program at Ohio University?
I understand the 30 resident credits but what is the "at least 50 percent of the major (Area of Concentration) must be completed through OHIO."???
I was hoping to transfer in everything except the nursing core classes. Anyone have any insight on this?

What page are you reading that from?
For me, all I did at OU was the nursing classes and the writing class. You don't have to do the writing class at OU though as long as it is a 300 or above and it's from a four year program.
I graduated in 2014.
From what I remember, they consider the 30 credits as meeting that requirement. I think it is more so people couldn't take 90% of a degree from fluff university, quit and then apply to Ohio University and get a bachelors degree from them when 90% of the degree is transferred in without taking enough credits from Ohio University.
I found this page which says you need 30 hours from Ohio University and you will get 31 in the RN to BSN program. I would avoid reading the main Ohio University page because their information may not pertain to the RN to BSN program. The application is even different at OU.
