Ohio RN to BSN - Electives

Nursing Students Ohio University

Hi all - thought it was time to start a new thread that dealt with electives. I'll start!! Business Comm - has anyone in Prof F's class gotten their book review completed? I am up to word 1150 or so ... and still have my evaluation and conclusion to add. Not sure what he is looking for - the last "book report/review" I did was 40 years ago! I don't think he minds .. verbose! I got an "excellent" on everything I have submitted so far that has gone over the required ...

So I need some encouragement from the peeps that have taken Prof F's bus comp class!! I was supposed to get in Prof P's class, that didn't happen and these two projects are going to be the death of me. It would not be as bad if I didn't have two nursing classes for each of the five weeks along with it. I might die without some pointers of getting through his class lol

PM Stephparm or RNinMe…I "think" they just finished Prof F class.

I ended up with a 99.2% in that class. I usually didn't submit my weekling reading response until Monday - due on Tuesday. They weren't hard - reference all to Nursing - which is your business. Used the heck out of Huber and the legal/ethics book. projects - including the multi week ones - I usually completed in 2 or 3 days tops. PM if you want

For those of you who took music 120 are you in academic outreach or completion. I am trying to register for music and it will not allow stating it is not in my courses list.I am so frustrated. Need advice on any fine arts that is doable.

I am getting used to what to expect now. I had a brief moment of panic lol There is up's and down's for his class. He does not grade very tough and I even turned in my one reading response in three hours late and I still received 100%. There is a lot to do. One discussion post with three responses, reading response to a provided article each week. Then you have to read a book and write a book review on it by week two. Furthermore, there are two more projects that span over four weeks each. Those I am still dreading, they sound like a lot of work but are probably doable (I hope). There is also an option for 10% extra credit if you do 58 grammar quizzes (they are pretty easy). So it probably kind of depends on what other classes you have.

It seems overwhelming at first ... but the class is doable. And he isn't a tough grader. I took it with Legal and then gerontology.

Does anybody know how to get info on what books a class uses?? I am taking Latin and Sociology in the summer and am wondering how to get the book info for these classes.
