Anyone else planning on starting the program on March 26? I just got off the phone with admissions and they have my transcripts. After my info as been through "two checkpoints," I'm supposed to receive a welcome packet in late February. I'm excited and nervous at the same time!

I couldn't submit through EPIC either. I had to email mine. EPIC wouldn't even open up to the "browse file" section. Anyway, it's done! whew! Finished my discussion posts as well. On to next week!

In order for you to submit you need to first save your paper in Microsoft Word 97-2003 document. This will allow it to be .doc instead of .docx. When you get to epic go to the assignment and click submit you will get the pop-up which allows you to browse and attach your paper.

Week 2 down :cheers: I could use a drink after this week, but since I'm pregnant, this will have to suffice. Oh, and lots of chocolate. Good thing it's Easter, there's plenty laying around, haha.

I honestly think this paper was just a really difficult one. That and just getting used to writing papers. Not knowing what it is they expect also. The original discussion post and my first reply took me a few hours, but the second response was much quicker, like done is 30 minutes or so. The stupid formatting is kicking my butt, as I'll start getting it, and then Word will do something stupid and screw it up.

The next 2 weeks don't look so bad. Next week is just discussion, the week after that is a paper, but it sounds like it will be easier than this one. Week 5 might be a bit heavy again, it's another comparison paper:banghead:

Kayarm, I didn't see your question in time. But I talked about how I felt like utilitarianism is seen at my job, then discussed

some of the other things the book talked about, like discernment and of beneficence. This was all just so confusing, I felt like it all ran together, and became so jumbled in my head, lol.

Nothing like cutting it close....5 minutes before midnight! Jeez....the stupid reference list for a state statute just about had me throwing my keyboard!! So glad it's over but I would have liked to have had more time to proofread, adjust and make sure all of my citations were correct. Hate being rushed.....oh well! It's behind me now! Off to relax....

At least you got it in! Whew - include me in the group of people who are finding this class intense and overwhelming! I hope the next class is easier. I have always done well in school, but this class is something else!

Double crap! I didn't either, but I didn't do an in text citation either...hmmm. oh well! Glad it's over. This week looks much lighter, soooooo glad! We're all getting there! Hang in there everybody!

Lying in bed last night one hour after submitting it I realized I forgot to site the stupid ethics and issues book!!!!!! Crap!!!!!!

I was seriously afraid to change it from a docx to a doc to submit it. I was afraid I would lose it all so I emailed the TA and told her I couldnt change it. She submitted it for me. I didnt do a complete in text citation for the article of the Ohio Revised Code for the OBN but I think that is the only one I missed. It seriously had me worried. This discussion board module post is due Thursday and responses due Sunday. My luck I work the next few days. Ugh.

I don't think the discussion post will be all that bad though. I read the chapter last night that the ethical situation is in, it's a pretty quick read. You can probably do a quick read/skim through the other chapters. The responses literally only have to be a minimum of I think 4 sentences. So it shouldn't be horribly time consuming.

Well I replied to the first one. Will get the other one out tomorrow. I have to work thurs, fri, and sat. So I'll have to do my "replies" to others either on my lunch break or wait until Sunday.
