Since all the TA seem to sing to their own tune you can ask just to make sure, at least for the coming weeks. I try to answer as general as possible therefore i do not need to cite. When grades are in i will let you know how that works out.

hahaha! I know what you mean about seeing how it works out! I'll go check this out further. There is no straight answer.

TA just said NO REFERENCES FOR DB answers! Woohooo!!!!:w00t:

OK, I'm truly lost in regard to the case study. The message from the instructor early in the week urged us to work as group and even suggested that we parcel out the questions. My group did this and we actually have some decent responses from most of the group (only one did not respond at all). We have lots of references too. Now I hear that we may - emphasis on the "may" - have to do our own individual responses to all six of the discussion questions. So why give a group assignment? Is this some kind of cruel joke or a test to see how hyper you can make a section? It's truly absurd.

Now I hear we don't need references either. At the end of the week, when most of us have already done the work. Yet another cruel joke.

We've actually posted the question about the assignment (group vs individual) but don't have a response yet. In keeping with the absurd, guerrilla theater tone of this course, it will probably come sometime late Sunday. I'll post if we get a response before then.

Jeez, this is enough to drive people to drink.

I'll drink to that chuckster! Okay, so you discuss, post, whatever on your group's DB. And yes, you do have to individually answer and submit responses to all 6 questions. That's what that assignment box at the end is for...your own work. Write it up in word, copy and paste into the EPIC assignment area. NO REFERENCES required. Somehow I'm still paranoid that is not really what they mean, lol. But the prof posted it so it must be true. Go thru each and every announcement and it will somewhat...vaguely and discreetly, explain the assignment. My approach now is to do my own work primarily. We divied up the questions and I answered mine. We are supposed to reply to two others in our group...I know, WT...??? Sounds like you have a great group this time...when it actually counts less. Are you counting down the time til graduation? Me too...

I thought the same thing, why bother with the groups when we have to do it individually anyway.

Because we need more crap on our plates...

I totally get ya Chuckster! I went to the poconos for 2 days and came back to a million posts on the QA board. Down to the very last one....everybody seemed lost. Somebody kept saying "you're not answering my question..." and the TA copied and pasted the same answer over and over. So lame. We were supposed to reply to 2 other case studies only to find out today that we don't have the capability due to technical issues with Epic. Seriously??? It's THURSDAY! And how we can just "comment within the group" rather than formally answer the questions on the DB. I went from the frying pan(325) to the fire! We shall overcome!

Our TA said to respond to two people within our group. I sense they are going to have to cut major slack on this module. Unbelievable.

Man, I 'm glad I didn't take this course this summer. You guys are scaring me. Maybe they will get their act together by the time I take it.
