Are you sure this is your final DARS? I went through something similar (seeing a ton of additional non-nursing courses appearing as outstanding on my DARS) and called the school. My advisor pointed out that there are a number of interim DARS and assured me that she would doublecheck everything before the final evaluation was released. She even went over the evaluation with me - no mean feat as I had 11 transcripts spanning more than 20 years - and gave me her opinion on what would transfer and what they could waive. When the final DARS was released, it reflected everything we talked about.

It may not be time to panic.

Chuckster, thanks for the words of encouragement. I don't think I will be getting any thing changed. They held my lower division nurisng courses in "escrow" until I passed my first 2 nsg courses, which I have. Then they applied 90 credit hours ( quarter hours) for that and waived micro and A&P but that is all.
I have to take the nursing courses plus: Nutrition, Psych 101, Soc 101, cross cultural, Jr Composition, Early Childhood and Adol development, Chemistry, Fine Arts, and even Freshman Comp, which I am trying to test out of.
I am a diploma grad and didn't take any extra courses over the years except a 1 hr course, Fundamentals of Teaching in Health.
But really I worked in Peds for 5 years, and we had early childhood growth and development in out Pediatrics Nursing course, so I don't understand why I have to take that one. I'm just thinking about the time and the money... I thought I could be done in a year or a year and a half, until I got hit with these extra courses.

OMG!!! I seriously wish I would have seen this thread sooner!!

I was SOOO ****** at the end of this course. *** were those exams about? Could they seriously come up with any more extremely obscure, yet horribly specific, questions??

I bombed both exams. And after receiving 100% for the first 3 case studies, she took of tons of points on the last one. I wound up with a B+. I emailed her asking if I was just way below the curve or what. I answered the questions in the exact same way as the first 3 modules.

:uhoh21: Oops, I really didn't think my language was that bad!

Could anyone who has already taken family nursing online at Ohio University tell me what chapters you had to read. I have ordered the book and want to start reading soon. Thanks !

I know this is an old thread but I'm posting. I'm starting family in January. If everyone is failing the exam, session after session after session, why the heck doesn't the school fix the language in their tests?
