Family Nursing January - Page 5
Register Today!- Jan 16 by enuf_alreadyQuote from NBanasz1I am also finding this challenging. Take the same case study that potentially thousands of people are doing/did but don't make it look or sound anything like anyone else's otherwise we'll accuse you of cheating. Sounds simple enough. Ha ha. Good luck everyone!I am writing the theraputic family letter based on the case study from the book. This also includes only the interventions that were stated in the book. Which means that much of the information is coming from the book, yet we are not supposed to include a reference for the book. I am confused especially since this paper is going to be checked for plagarism. Also found is VERY hard to write the letter at a fifth grade level and incorporate the Nursing Diagnosis. Still its done.jandm855 likes this.
- Jan 16 by BeautifulyouI am not a fan of this therapeutic letter. I stink at writing nursing dx's, and it seems as though all the information is already summarized in the case study. Sooo..we just reword it into a letter?
- Jan 16 by torymax23I am curious as I just stumbled onto this thread, but would a person always cite their references in the body of the letter or just list the references at the end...? I am not in any on-line class but learning some APA guidelines....
- Jan 16 by enuf_alreadyQuote from torymax23In text citations go in the body while references go at the end. Check out the Purdue Owl website for APA examples. I don't know that you would ever list something in the references without citing it in the body of the paper. If it's in the body, it better be in the references!I am curious as I just stumbled onto this thread, but would a person always cite their references in the body of the letter or just list the references at the end...? - Jan 17 by Qtiepy05Hello, just joining this thread. I have yet to recieve my book for this class and it won't be delivered until the 21st. Is there any way someone could tell me what the case study states. I would greatly appreciate it. Kinda freaking out here since my book isn't here. Thank you!!!
- Jan 17 by KOUStudentHow long did everyone's therapeutic letter turn out to be? The instructions said 2-3 pages double spaced. Mine is 2 pages. Just curious. I didn't know if I should add more to it.

- Jan 17 by enuf_alreadyQuote from Qtiepy05I'm not sure you are going to be able to complete the assignment without the book since there is a lot of reading we are supposed to do along with this. I would suggest you contact your TA ASAP to see if they have any suggestions or will extend the deadline. Good luck!Hello, just joining this thread. - Jan 18 by modgoth1Quote from Qtiepy05I don't have my book yet, due to seller error, as evidenced by no book recieved yet even though payment was made on 12/28. I have to wait until 1/22 to file a claim saying that I never recieved it. Apparently I am still supposed to get it but we'll see. In the meantime I was able to do a 7 day free trial etextbook of our textbook from Barnes and Noble and I have been reading it on my laptop. It's not ideal, I highly prefer the actual book, but it is working in a pinch. Go check it out at Barnes and Nobles website. Once the free trial is over you can rent it as an etextbook for about $21.Hello, just joining this thread. I have yet to recieve my book for this class and it won't be delivered until the 21st.
