Community Health...who has taken or wil be taking? - Page 33

Mine deducted 2 full points on last week's assignment because I failed to mention the role of the nurse in public health.....mind you....I wrote a full paragraph on it!!!! I just don't get it..........they're nuts!

My TA took off 2 points because I did not show page 1 on the title page (I suppressed the number on the title page and so the first content page was "2") and because I did not use a title on my first content page. Would certainly have had another point deducted if I had exceeded the two page maximum. Have yet to get full marks for any paper for this class, though the remarks about the content are always "very well written", "concise - excellent organization and writing", "well done paper", etc

Can't wait for this one to end.

So I finally decided to take a break from stressing over this paper and took the quiz tonight. Can you say ouch! Worst grade I have received on a quiz yet. So now I am back to stressing over the paper...

Uhhhhhh I BOMBED!!! Too embarrassed to tell the grade......but I didn't care! The material was the worst yet IMO.

So what you're saying is that I should quit trying to read and "skim" all this crap because I'm probably going to tank anyway, eh?

Considering the fact that I got questions from unassigned chapters ... yah, pretty much a waste of time! El Bombo

All I can say is it's over!!! Not one of my favorite classes that's for sure. The TAs are so variable. I am blessed to say mine was very good. I am sorry for those of you who drew "short straws." I've had mine and it ain't fun.

Time to roll the dice for 414. Who's going there next?

Assignment turned in, quiz done (such as it was), so......DONE! I am DONE with this class.....FINITO!!!! Ack, this was a rough one. I enjoyed the subject matter, but it was so tedious.

Like I said, I was gonna take 414 next, but I dropped it because we are getting ready to move, and I just can't juggle working full-time, a class, and packing! I'm sad that I will probably be off-kilter with all of you wonderful people's class schedule now, but it has to be done. I will actually enjoy the break, though...catch ya on the flip side!

Oh, and CHEERS!

I had a running head as well. It would have taken quite a bit of space away from the first page to include a title, which would have meant either going over the limit (loss of a point) or inadequately addressing one or more of the several issues we had to cram into two pages (loss of who knows how many points). Have I mentioned that I'm not fond of this class?

Oh well, the DB post and responses are history I just submitted the assignment. Will take the quiz later today. Don't think I'll put too much effort into reviewing the text since it is highly unlikely I get my average back up over the 95% needed for an "A".

The cold one(s) later this afternoon will be well-deserved and much appreciated.
