Community Health Fall 12

Is anyone else getting killed on APA formatt? I have "good content", but get 1 or 2 points taken off for APA!!! Soooo frustrating!!!!

Between this class and my statistics class....I am spent, and ready for a break!! LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GO!!

I'm right there with you. Thank goodness we are almost done with both of these classes. I won't have much of a break because I am going to take 2 more together next session. So my real break will be 12/8/12!!!!!

I am not taking any classes until Jan. They are not offering any classes that I need. Cultural Diversity and Health Assessment are less time consuming than Community! Anyone hear anything about a 5 wk Business Communication or Intro to Ethics? I'm thinking about taking the Intro to Ethics with a nursing class. I have Evidence-Based Nursing, Leadership and Excellence left to complete. Any suggestions? 3 weeks down, 2 to go. We can do this!!!

You can actually take 4600 the next session, apparently it does not have to be last class completed, plus this may allow you to finish the program sooner.

DB post is DONE! I work tomorrow and didn't want to wait until Thursday. Now I just have the agency assignment to complete.

I am confused about this week's DB. Are we supposed to provide ALL the services available under ALL categories?

My county's Department of Social Services lists all the services available to the vulnerable populations - but there are pages and pages of services. And that doesn't even cover all of the services in my county (church communities, grass roots organziations etc.) - I just read someone else's post and it was only two paragraphs. Am I missing something?

I too found a website that had all the available services and it also gave brief descriptions and qualifications. I just picked a few from each main category and went from there. I touched on homeless shelters, battered women's shelters, soup kitchens, and substance abuse treatment centers.

I took it over 8 weeks, because I took it in the summer. Not sure what it's offered as now. It wasn't hard, but it's a pain in the a$$. I got an A, taking it with an Art class, while 8 & 9 months pregnant, working part time, and a 3 year old. It's just a lot of reading and writing. You have to read a book and do a book report, then you have these weekly things, plus other big assignments. That was with professor F anyways.

I agree. I copy and paste the text reference rather than formatting it each week and just got dinged for week 2's assignment. I guess I'll get points off for week 3 as well, as my feedback for week 2 was not provided until this past Monday (week 4!).

Did everyone get their appointment date to register for classes next semester? I can register on October 30th. This will be my second and last semester and I cannot wait.

I am feeling the same way!!! I have been getting one and two points off for APA that I do not want to add something that does not need to be included. I reviewed like 9 places!! Did I do too much?
