Nursing Students Ohio University

I can't believe this starts in justs over a week. Anyone else in for this one?

For those of you who did the windshield survey already, for the two paragraph summary at the end did you use references? I didn't see anywhere that we needed to have any, but I wasn't sure if I missed something. Thanks!

I always include references, whether they want them or not...lol! I alway check the rubric before I submit.

I would put a reference regardless. Was it this class that people got docked for not having reference, because it said it somewhere, but wasn't on the rubric? Or maybe that was my last class. They all blur together now. Between this and leaderhip, which completely and totally sucks and I think is the worst class I've had so far (doing the worst in it as well), I'm a week in and already over this time block.

We still have quizes for leadership, which they gave a "study guide" and then gave us an announcement that is was pretty much fair game to quiz us on stuff on the study guide, even thought it is out of sequence and not always in the assigned chapters.

Does anyone know when they post final grades for classes? I keep looking for my grade for the last class I took so I can submit it to my employer for reimbursement. I'm starting to wonder if they wait until the end of the semester and post grades for all 3 classes at once. I hope not because I want the money from the last class to pay for this class!

I am in the same boat as you. I emailed the professor to ask as well as sent an email to the school of nursing and have had no response. I copied the pages from "my grades" in the last course and sent that to my employer with a note that final grades had not been posted, but that I needed the reimbursement to pay for this class that I am currently in.

I didn't get a reply that they won't accept it, so I'm hoping it goes through.

My employer is so picky with reimbursement I doubt they would accept the percentage. Hopefully it works for you.

I think I read somewhere on the OU website that grades are not posted until the end of the semester. I also copied the pages from "my grades" and sent it to the HR dept and received my tuition reimbursement. hopefully it will work for you.

Well this assignment is almost done. I just need to write another paragraph for my summarization and then another diagnosis. I'll have to finish up tomorrow and then write my 2 DB replies. This class is by far the most time consuming class I've taken yet at OU.

So many of those sections are redundant... why ask about the people you observe in one section, then ask about children, adolescents, and women.... didn't I already answer that? I love my work in community, but I really hate this class. It is such a shame, b/c I was looking forward to it,

I just sent my TA an email with a complaint about blackboard. In my DB post, I typed my reference directly b/c blackboard kept messing up the formatting, and after I submitted it, when I looked at how it posted, the darn thing put my reference right in the middle of my post. I am so darn frustrated and angry......... I spent like an hour and a half on that post and it looks like S# ^@!

So how much of these 12 to 15 page assignments do you think the TA is really going to read anyway?

Well that didn't go as planned. My 2 yr old wiped out 2 sections of my assignment and I had to type it all out again. ugh! Anyway, do the community diagnosis have to do with our Healthy People objective again or just on issues we observed in our windshield survey? I didn't read anywhere that it had to do with HP. I have one that can go with my HP, but the other is more environmental, considering what is happening over here. Thanks!

They will not deduct points for the APA situation on the DB posts. It's apparently an ongoing problem and complained during my first quarter. I hope she is the same way!

Did anyone else notice that their rubrics for week two aren't there anymore?... The bb is really screwing them up!

Scratch that last post of mine. Apparently I can't see...it's on the assignment.
