From looking at the classes starting in fall, I'm guessing that Evidence Based nursing is replacing Research? Anyone have any idea if stats is still required prior to taking this, as it was with Research?

I've been able to take the previous tests without actually having to download that respondus browser. Has anyone found that we have to do it for the dependent/independent variable assignment and quiz 3? Thanks

Yes...I had to download it for the independent/dependent assignment, however, I have not needed it to take any quizzes.
I am also taking leadership management. I cannot remember, is that a combined class?

I think that it is a combined class. I took that last fall!! Not as bad as research!!!! Is anyone taking community nursing? Or has anyone already taken it, if so what did you think?
Is the dependent/independent variable assignment timed? How many are there? Debating if I want to do tonight or tomorrow after the quiz...Thanks

No not timed. You can save your answers and go back to it later.

I agree about the need for stating the strengths and weaknesses of each study in the DB post. The clarified instructions that I received did not include doing the meta-analysis search so I ended up not doing that. In light of the confusion for this weeks DB posting, it will be interesting to see how satisfied everyone is with their DB grade. Week 3 done! Is anyone taking Leadership/Management next?

I did the same on the DB...repetitious as it was. It will all boil down to the TA once again.
I'm taking Leadership next and I PRAY it's better than this awful class. Oh my gosh, will it ever end???
Sounds like many of us will be in leadership together! I'm taking excellence after that then I am done!
Same here! Can hardly wait for the day!
BTW: I had originally had Excellence scheduled for the 3rd session of the fall, because we had always been told that it had to be the last class.
Well, I was able to reschedule it for the second session of the fall. In fact...we could have taken Excellence with this class even though we still had nursing classes to finish.
I think what is happening now that we have changed to semesters, each of the three 5 week sessions are seen as Fall semester only. So, I will be finished with Excellence 4660 in November, before Health Assessment and Interventions in December.
Just thought I would let people know so you can schedule accordingly.

I am taking excellence right now. It is really not too bad at all. No quizzes, woot woot! That is always a plus. It just has lots of discussion boards, this week alone I had three, but it is not bad. It deals with, well nursing excellence and the basics of the US healthcare system. It was initially said to be the last class but you are eligible to take it as long as your DARS says you are a senior.
I took management and strategic planning when there were still two separate classes, straight forward case studies and papers, also not too bad. I hope it doesn't change much for everybody since its been combined.
@Mom2boys12 take a look at the thread started by binglinger, there are posts about what community entails.
Inimca...thanks for the information. I am taking management/Leadership and Excellence together. I don't mind DB posts...but do not like writing papers as much. Hopefully it will not be too much work to take both at the same time.
Okay...Sunday I finally take quiz 3. It is great to only have two weeks left and another class done. Congratulations to all of you who are are one to two classes away from finished. Job well done!!!!
I still have to take the junior English class. Delays my graduation till 22 December.

I think so ... and you need to buy two books as far as I can tell.
