STNA in Columbus, Ohio

U.S.A. Ohio

Hello! I'm looking for a credible STNA program in Columbus, Ohio. One with a good reputation among health care professionals (most important!). Thank you :-)

CSCC has a good reputation. They are the biggest and most well known program. It is a 10 week, 5 credit hour course. Your clinicals are done at a very well-known and respected LTC facility. That is where I did my course and I would highly recommend it. If you plan on going to CSCC for nursing school, you will need to take the course there or pass the state test. I decided I didn't want to take the state test as it is expensive, hospitals don't require it, and I didn't want to work in LTC so that is another reason I picked CSCC.

It is offered every quarter, but they fill up fast so you'll want to register at midnight when the window opens. You probably won't be able to take it until summer quarter in June because I'm sure Spring Quarter is full. However, students always drop so I would e-mail the professor about being force added or showing up to the first day of class to be added. Multiple students did that when I took it.
