The nursing program looking rather short.

Has anyone attended this school? Is it good, bad, okay??

Do you attend the Youngstown or Toledo campus?

I attend the Toledo campus.

Does anyone currently attend the Youngstown campus?

Well, they changed the admission requirements for the RN program again. Even if you didn't score proficient on the TEAS you can still apply for the RN program but those who scored proficient will get reviewed first. I wonder why they changed the requirements at the last minute like that?

Addison are you looking into the Youngstown campus? The also changed the application deadline from Feb 1st to Feb 15th. I strongly feel that they don't have enough students applying so they are changing requirements. Too bad I still can't apply for Fall! =(

I was looking into the Toledo campus.

I guess the TEAS reduced the number of students applying this year because last year I was waitlisted): Oh well. I applied to another one of their programs and its too late to pull my application now.

eta: why can't you apply for the fall? I sooo wish this school had a Spring, Fall and Summer nursing admission. Waiting an entire year to apply again is pure torture

Well I got accepted for Fall 2011, provisionally based on me passing my chm and bio classes but my husband joined the Navy and got stationed in San Diego. I now wish that I stayed and completed my classes and started the program. The school changed their program requirements and now I need to take the TEAS and finish up my chm class. But they no longer accept provisional applications and now they are saying my algebra class might be to old. So from the way it looks this school is out of the question for me.

I think ALL schools should have more than 1 entry date. Its ridiculous!

I had no idea they accepted provisional applications. Well, I had all of my prerequisites done & was a Mercy student and they waitlisted me for Fall 2011. So unfair! Never got in. Maybe I will have better luck this year in another program

The provisional was for the Youngstown campus I don't know how the Toledo campus works. It seems as tho all nursing programs are a pain to get into any more. Good luck with whatever you decide to do =)

I wanted to apply for Fall 2012 but my chemistry is too old. I got accepted for Fall 2011 but could not attend due to my husband being in the military. So I have to reapply and they changed a lot of things. I hae to take the TEAS and now my chem is too old. And now I won't be able to apply for fall because the deadline is Feb 1st. Disappointed. :bluecry1:

I know this is kinda old, but have you tried recently? They still have seats open, so if you can get everything done before it fills and you have met all criteria you may still be able to get in for Fall 2012. I just found out this week and that is what I am in the process of now...just waiting on my transcripts making it to their facility and I am in if there is still a seat.

Can someone please tell me what the admission requirements for Mercy College other than the TEAS test? Do all of your prereqs have to be done before you can apply?
