Hello Everyone,

I stumbled across this board while doing a lot of intensive searching over the last few days and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about Choffin Career & Technical Center. I was looking into their LPN Program. I have since requested more information from them and have read their website while I am waiting for the information to arrive. But in the meantime I am being a little impatient.

The question’s I am mostly seeking are:

1. What is their pre entrance exam like? I have been out of school for over 12 years and it makes me wonder what I have possibly forgotten after all this time. I did pick up what I think is a good book to help study for the pre entrance exam.

2. Tuition states 7,000, this includes fees and books. Will their be any other out of pocket costs and if so what will they be so that I can possibly start either buying things before hand or putting the money aside.

3. What types of uniforms are required?

4. Do you think it would be wise once completed to instantly start their I.V Therapy course or is this included in the LPN program?

Also if you feel you can add any insightful information that you think would be beneficial for me to know please feel free to share.
