Re: Tri-C accelerated adn
Please, please, please don't be scared. She was fairly threatening...what with her 40% first-time fail rate, but I don't think it will be all that bad. Yes, the courses are going to be demanding and it will take up a HUGE amount of time, but you are right, if you can just get through this summer you will be fine. Every time I felt myself starting to get worked up I reminded myself that people do this all the time. You can succeed if you take the time to study and breathe.
I am surprisingly feeling really good about everything. I had read through most of the information on the ADN board, so she didn't say anything I hadn't already heard. I liked all the nursing staff that I met and I liked all the students as well. I got the distinct impression that folks were pairing up and looking for buddies...probably a survival instinct.

I was happy to see that there were a lot of people I recognized there from my pre-req classes.
Yes, I did get the feeling that the fall will be easier. I think that allowing more time to get through the classes will make it substantially less-stressful.
I am also in labs on MOnday. Which section are you in? I registered for CRNs 51433 and 51885...the second batch on the grid. I also got my clinicals at Bedford. I was somewhat relieved to see that not that many people were scrambling for Bedford...I took it to mean there aren't that many people from the program around me and getting my desired clinical sites will be a breeze.

I was amazed to see Parma fill up before midnight!
I was a bit disappointed to find that we will likely be needing to spend a lot of time at school during non-lecture/lab times. I was hoping I would be able to use Tuesday and Wednesday as study times. Hopefully I will get a good lottery number and will be able to get a testing time close to regular class times.
As far as snow...it is going to suck. It shouldn't be too too terrible. We should be in the hybrid classes when winter is the worst, so hopefully that will mean that we need to spend less time at school and less time on the roads.
