Traveling Abroad?

Ok so im fresh out of high school and will be starting college this summer quarter and i know i want to go into nursing because of the seduction of travel, one of my biggest hopes of accomplishing in my life and i plan to do so through nursing but im not sure what requirements i need to meet in order to do so. So i was wandering what i need to do as far as school is concerned to meet international standards or better yet what do i need to reach in nursing as far as certification to make my dreams happen and how much time will it take me to accomplish this roughly. Also any resourses you can throw my way ex. websites, info, etc. please do so.

thanks

Default Re: Traveling Abroad?
Were you able to get any of your questions answered? There are many opportunities to be an RN abroad. One of my instructors was an RN in Saudi Arabia for 2 years. She signes a contract, and they provided her housing (and a driver/car since women weren't allowed to drive over there) ...anyways, she says any level RN is applicable (ADN, BSN) and that you don't need to speak the native language b/c interpreters are available.

There's some big hospital corporation that has placements all over the globe. I don't recall what it's called.

Good luck on your journey.
First thing first, get into nursing school!!
