transfer credit from CSCC to COTC???

Does anybody know what classes line up between CSCC and COTC? I'm trying to take all of the stuff I can online at CSCC, and do the actual nursing classes at COTC.

Right now I can't figure out what the following COTC course numbers correlate to CSCC classes:

CHEM 1710
CHEM 1713
MATH 1210
BIO 1774/1775
BIO 1770/1771

If anybody knows where I can check what CSCC classes match up, I'd be so appreciative!!!! It seems like these types of things should be posted somewhere, you know?

Thanks!

Have you contacted COTC for a transfer sheet? I imagine they would have one. It's hard to tell with different levels of chemistry and such how they would match up.

under the login boxes there's a link that says "guest login". Select that and go from there.

Math 1210 - Math 148

According to the webpage, the other classes don't transfer. Double-check with COTC though.

CHeck out this website--it is the Course Applicability System and will let you see what the courses from one school will transfer to at another. It is very helpful....

I am in my 4th quarter of Nursing classes @ COTC and they have a new program. I took anatomy, phisiology, bio, chem, human dev, small group all at CSCC. Patho and Micro are now integrated into the program so don't take them. I had to take reasoning skills and soc 101 @ COTC. You should meet with a counselor @ COTC though just to make sure you are all good.

Hello.

I am transferred to COTC, however BIO 261, BIO 262 and CHEM 113 did not transfer. I have contacted COTC, because my advisor said it should have transferred without any problems. Did anyone take those classes at CSCC and transfer to COTC without problems? -Or- Do I need to retake them at COTC?

Did you take BIO 261, BIO 262 and CHEM 113 at CSCC? If so, did you have any problems with them transferring to COTC for BIO 1770/1771, BIO 1774/1775 and CHEM 1710/1713. Thanks for you reply. (My advisor at COTC said they transferred, however I have not recieved any transfer credit for these courses.)

I don't have personal experience for transfer credit from CSCC to COTC yet, but my understanding is that those classes will show as transfer credit after you successfully finish your first quarter at COTC. I'm not sure, like I had said, but when I have asked similar questions, that's what they told me.

awesome! Go you!! I can't wait to start there, I sure hope they are more organized than CSCC was. I'm taking Reasoning Skills and Sociology at CSCC this quarter online to transfer there next quarter and hopefully start their transition nursing degree in January. :-) Good luck with everything!!
