To Those That Work at Akron's Children's Hospital

I have at least one question for you....

I am doing a paper on this hospital and I can find most of the information related to this facility. However, one of the questions is: Describe the average patient in this institution. I am assuming they are talking about patient demographics.....Can anyone describe the patient demographics for this facility or can point me in the right direction?

I'm sure there are more questions I will have, but this is a start.

Any statistical information on this facility would be helpful too.

Please accept my thank-you in advance for any help you have to offer.

Sincerely,
Ginger

Hello! I live in akron.

Akron Childrens Hospital is an amazing facility. They have the best burn unit in their area. In regards to your demographics question, there is sucha wide array of people. Even adults will be brought in for the use of some of their great departments... such as the burn unit. I am a nursing student, and I actually just had surgery there about a month ago. I am over 18, but I still go to Akron Childrens in emergencies, theirrheumatology dept and their orthopedic dept. They are great.
