I am going through the Rets College School of Nursing at NIT in Cuyahoga Falls and I love it. Its an excellent program. I highly recommend it. If the other campuses are like this one, I say go for it!

I attend RETS in Centerville. If I had to do it again I would go some where else. There is nothing good I can say about my RETS experience. I am a current LPN student and I will not be doing the ADN there, not even if it was free.

well I had to same experiance that big cat had but only at Galen in Cincinnati. There were promises of all kinds of assitance etc. but once inrolled and they had your money all they would say is this is and advanced program and you should be studing on your own. It happens at more schools than we would like to think. IMHO! I'm going to try Bohecker (Rets) in cincinnati.

I am a current lpn student at Rets in Ravenna (bohecker college) I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this school. They are very expensive and was promised all kinds of assistances and never got it. Also, there is all kinds of stipulations that they don't tell you upfront. The credits don't transfer to another program so basically I am stuck till graduation. I will not be attending the sister school for my RN (NIT in cuyahoga falls) I hope this helps!!!

I have been attending RETS since Aug 07. I will graduate in Nov 09 from ADN. Yes there have been a few snags now and then, but all in all I have had a good experience. It seems from what I hear there are problems at all schools. Most of the people that I graduated with in LPN said they would never be back....well, most of them are back so must not be that bad!! Good luck where ever you go.

If you are planning on attending an accelerated school for nursing, make sure you speak to other students that have attended the program(s) you are considering before you make that final leap. Also, MAKE SURE you get an idea of the program(s) from several different people and at different times of enrollment. Things change rather quickly from semester to semester, so that is the only way to get an accurate accountability of the program, staff and school. Obviously, students will have many different accounts of the program(s) of interest.
You may also check out the NCSBN or the OBN for verification of their status.
Good luck
