Relicensure?

Ok, I heard an Ohio nurse talking about Ohio mandating some sort of relicensure of RNs every two years. She couldn't remember the exact wording, but she said Ohio is trying to implement something. Apparently, this information came from the Ohio Nurses Association. I tried looking online, but I haven't been able to find anything--can any Ohio nurses enlighten me? I can't imagine a relicensure with something like the NCLEX...that would be totally ridiculous and impractical. I'm sure that's not what she meant, but can anyone help me out here? Thanks!
