Questions abt. Nursing in Northeast Ohio...

Hello to all Ohio nurses...especially all Northeast Ohio nurses. I have some questions that I am hoping someone can help me answer. I am originally from Northeast Ohio...Lorain County area. I am thinking, seriously this time!, of moving back there. I have been gone for almost 11 years now. I am wondering what kinds of jobs are there for LPNs. I am wondering how the pay is, working conditions, that kind of thing. I know a lot of it is probably the same as anywhere, but just wondering if there are any specific places that are hiring or where LPNs are the most in demand.

I am also wondering if there are any LPN to RN programs in the area. I am currently in my 4th semester of an LPN to BSN program and I am wondering if it would be better for me just to stay here until I graduate from that and then try to come up there and get a job as an RN, or if I could transfer those classes to some other program.

Any advice?
