Online Refresher course

I called around to several hospitals in my area and asked it they required a refresher course and most of them said they didn't. They said they have hired nurses who have been out of nursing for a while put them thru there orientation etc.. I really wanted to take a refresher course but now the problem im having is I can take the course but I cant find a hospital in my area that will let me do the clinical part...The ones i have called have never had anyone go thru an online course...
I did all my ceu's plus some to reactivate my license. Received my license in the mail a few weeks ago, so I have been applying to hospitals online to see what happens.
