O'Bleness in Athens to lay-off LPN's.

Cousin told me that there will be a layoff soon. She said it has already been in the paper and it is mainly the LPN staff to be affected. Says they are going to pay for RN school for these LPN's. Anyone else know more?
What is true and when is this supposed to happen? What about the union? How does the union stand on this?
