Moving to Toledo

Will be moving as soon as my house sells here in Charlotte, NC. (wish me luck there) I am a brand new nurse with an Ohio license and 13+ years of varied medical experience, just no nursing experience aside from clinicals. It looks like the jobs are a little competitive up there from some of the recent posts I've read. I have my sights set on Toledo Hospital, and hopefully I won't have too much trouble getting a position there that I will enjoy.

Mostly I'd like to know about neighborhoods/local areas to look for a house to rent and possibly rental agencies to look into. I'm a third shifter and a bit wary of apartments due to that. Last time I was up there, I looked through the local paper and rental prices didn't look too bad, but I don't know the area that well. I need to be convenient to TSU/MCO since my fiance is in their DPT program as well as relatively convenient to Toledo Hospital.

I'd also love to hear from anyone who has anything to say about Promedica, especially about starting pay, recruiters, treatment of staff, etc... All comments, good and bad, would be appreciated.

Looking forward to some fun watching the Mud Hens play.
