Hi, I'm new to the site. I'm looking for an IV Certification course in the Toledo Ohio area. Anyone know of any?

Welcome to allnurses.com! Glad you found the site. I am moving this to the Ohio State Forum where it may generate some responses.

I graduated from Owens and IV certification was included in our program, but you might want to check and see if they offer the certification seperately. I know Toledo campus offers more than the Findlay campus does.

Yup. Call EHOVE and ask for Janet Ballard. She's the IV cert instructor. Good luck!

I think that Owens in Toledo may still offer an I.V.cert. for LPN's.

I think Troy ohio is probably like and hour from you, but this IV course is only 5 days if I remember right and it is excellent! Upper Valley JVS school of Practical Nursing has it. You should contact them because the lnstructor who do the IV course goes all over and they could get her number for you. SHe might be doing a course closer your way.
