Looking to start BSN

My friend et I are looking to start our BSN. We were just wondering what what are some good programs in Ohio et what all do you have to do. Are you required to do clinicals like when in RN school? How do they work? Any information would be great. Thanks!!

Leslie

You will probably need to do clinicals for leadership and community. There are many BSN programs. just do a search without knowing what part of ohio you are looking at, do you want online?

We are in Southern Ohio, near Chillicothe. We do prefer online because we both work Monday-Friday et have kids, ect. So I think that would be better for us both. Thanks!

Nurse Re: Looking to start BSN
Hi all,

I am a student in Wright State's BSN program and to my knowledge, the only online program offered is the new Doctorate of Nursing program. Wright State also has an accelerated BSN program for students who have a prior degree but it is not an online program The only other program here that may possibly be online is the RN-BSN program.

Before I was accepted into WSU, I looked into Kettering College of Medical Arts (about 2 yrs ago) and at that time they did not offer any online nursing programs..although things may have changed.

You may want to check with Excelsior College (although a friend of mine is having a lot of problems with them) and Indiana Wesleyen (as the above poster mentioned).

Good Luck!

Wright State does have an RN to BSN program online. Many schools do. there is a link about RN to BSN programs that happen to be online and that you set up clinicals in your area, school will help with the paper work..are actually pretty cheap too. Do a search here
