I'm accepted!

The Christ Nursing and Health Sciences program is held in the Christ Nursing building they put right next to Christ Hospital on Auburn Ave. It's a very nice facility!

Yep, I'm going to drive. I figure it's a good time to listen to recorded notes and things like that. My husband also drives the same drive, and is working for the same group of hospitals I'll be working for (due to the tuition forgiveness plan...if I work for three years for a Health Alliance hospital, they will pay for my entire RN program! WHOO HOO!) I was in an LPN program for 6 weeks but became so unhappy with the way the program was structured I began looking for other alternatives. I withdrew and applied to Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences due to many students who told me it was TOTALLY different from what I had experienced in the LPN program, and I also went to a Meet and Greet at the college. I fell in love with it and now, here I am, accepted! WHEEEEEEEE!

I didn't transfer anything from the LPN program, I'm just going to start over and work at things the way they teach them in this new program. I hadn't finished any of the LPN core courses anyway, so there was nothing to transfer. I feel SO BLESSED!

Congrats to you! Did you go to one of their Meet and Greet programs, or talk to past students? Everyone is really happy with their training at Christ, from what I found!
