how to get student loans??

I know this questions sounds stupid but, i just got into nursing school this august. I took all my pre reqs and paid as i went. I filled out the form online for finicial aid and was denied which i knew i would be. Now do i have to go to the bank for student loan or do i wait for the school or do i have to go upto the school and apply there for a loan. tia

Was the form you filled out online the FAFSA? That is the form that you typically fill out to get government loans. Even though you didn't qualify for financial aid from the school I would still talk to the financial aid office at your school because they should be able to point you in the right direction. Like I said... I'm assuming they will have you complete the FAFSA. Good luck!

I wonder why you got denied. I filled out the FAFSA and Columbus State approved me for $1125 per quarter. I heard a lot of people say they wouldn't give you loans if you already had a bachelor's degree but they did. If I were you I would go talk to the financial aid adviser because everyone should be able to get at least some financial aid.
