Hondros or Chamberlain

by BraveGirl12 Premium Member

I'm trying to decide between two nursing schools in Columbus, Chamberlain and Hondros. My immediate reaction to visiting both schools was Hondros because of the atmosphere and the classes offered. However, after finding out that Hondros isn't NLN accredited I'm having a very difficult time making my decision.
Does anyone know anything about either of these schools that could help me? I'm fairly new to the whole thing, so any information you could give me would be extremely helpful.
Thanks so much!!

I've heard that Hondros is just as good as Chamberlain, but that with Chamberlain your paying for the name, and that Hondros is little bit cheaper. I might be wrong, but this was just a conversation with one of the nursing instructors that brought students to my old job. I think I would go with the one that feels right to you.

I am looking at both for an ADN. Hondros only offers an LPN in the Columbus area. You might also want to to look at COTC in Newark (40 minutes away), they offer LPN, ADN, and BSN for $100 a credit hour.
